Opening Analysis
The following games contain various openings that are not meant to be comprehensive in their coverage, nor replace a solid book on opening variations such as MCO-14 that runs over 700 pages in length. These games are meant to be studied as an introduction to the various openings, and
are primarily intended for players who may not have access to a large chess library, or have no way to
meaningfully acquire (or comprehend) a games database with millions of entries.
However, A.J. has gone through the pains of analyzing opening lines in great detail while using the latest tools
such as Fritz 8.0, a large chess library, exhaustive database such as ChessBase, etc. Also, the database has been thoroughly searched in an effort to find the most recent games that were contended by players of stature (i.e., meaning that the players
quoted are generally at least of IM strength, and above 2450 in rating).
